Communications Management Systems
Description
CSCE is a flexible, adaptive network
management system that enhances the effectiveness of the Current Force. The
software anticipates evolving Warfighter requirements by allowing for rapid
reconfiguration in the field. It interoperates with existing equipment and is
adaptable to meet Future Force requirements. CSCE is cost effective from its
hardware platform (Intel laptop) to software (extremely low license costs).
Backed by a dedicated development team, onsite training, and top-ranked field
representatives, CSCE offers a complete solution.

Status
Fielded Software:
Version 3.2
- CSCE v3.2 increases the types
of communications assets (switches, routers, etc) that
can be planned/monitored thereby providing one
stop, superior management of the communications network.
System performance is enhanced providing immediate status on health and
welfare of the network. A network merge capability facilitates planning in a
mobile or decentralized environment. Additional security provisions
mitigate the likelihood of either unauthorized users or data access.
Application integration of the Software Operator Manual ensures ease-of-use
and rapid training.
Next Release:
Version 3.3 (4QFY05)
- V3.3 will improve the shelter patching
diagrams moving towards auto-population of the Forms, which will decrease
the time and effort to create a network plan and ensure data accuracy.The security
posture of the system will be improved
to deny unauthorized access to the system or data. The
ability to track, monitor and adjust bandwidth usage will be
implemented to avoid network
congestion.
